Thank Goodness for Friends!

Today was a very eventful day. I went bowling with the Special Recreation Association this morning. That is always a wonderful way to start out my weekend. I am so encouraged by the people I work with at special rec. My roomates Michelle, Kim and I went to Orland to shop and eat and then Joe, myself and two of our friends went to the Olivet football game. It was a beautiful day! Thank goodness for friends. They help me keep my sanity.

These last couple of weeks have been a little rough. I'm trying to get over bronchitus and a sinus infection which has put a strain on life... I also dont deal with change very well and starting a new school year brings on a whole new routine to get used to! Different friendships grow and others just change. Its a growing experience. I feel like I continually am growing and learning new things about myself, my friends, and life through college. I'm constantly reminded when I have a terrible day that I can't handle everything on my own--and I dont have to. I've been learning to be patient with others...that is a very hard lesson for me to learn. I feel like God has brought so many circumstances into my life this year to teach me so much and help me mature into the woman that He wants me to be. I have been encouraged and ways I would have never thought... God is so good.

On another note... I am also getting much better at guitar hero. My roomates Kim and Jess have me hooked...I think it may be a disease. Ha ha. So if anyone ever wants to play...let me know!!
