This semester is wonderful, and challenging and so many emotions mixed together. I absolutely love my internship. It has been challenging, and exciting and overwhelming, but I really love what I do. I just love talking with people and feeling like I'm really helping them out and being able to be supportive as well as an advocate for people. I have already had so many exciting cases and feel like I'm already being able to impact others lives.
Its amazing how drained I am after a day at work!! I never knew I would sleep so hard and somehow I never get enough sleep. Its so strange to be in the working world!
This weekend Joe was in town which was a lot of fun and we were able to get together with some other close couple friends of ours. It was nice to have a relaxing weekend.
Today my mom and I had a fun "girls day out." John and Dad are at snow camp this weekend, so we went into the suburbs to go shopping and out for lunch and had a blast. It was a very much needed day of fun. :o)
Now I'm just getting ready for another busy week! Lots more to learn, and off to Olivet on Friday...2 weeks down!!
