Terrible, horrible, no good, very bad week....

So last week was definitely not one of my favorites.  It all started Monday, on my way to work, I was turning left on a green arrow, and a guy ran a red light and hit me, spun me around a couple times, and totaled my car!!  It was devastating!  My airbags went off, my car was like smoking, and I am very bruised now!!  To make matters worse, the guy was denying that he had a red light, and was going to fight us.  So his insurance got involved and luckily we had other witnesses there, so his insurance finally did claim liability, but now I'm waiting to hear what I'll get for my car.

I went to the doctor, luckily no broken bones, just a sprained neck and some really bad bruising, but now I have to deal with his insurance company more to figure out the medical bills, and I have no car still.  Joe drove me around some, but it was quite difficult to get to school and work... so tomorrow I am finally at least going to have a rental car.

This weekend was much better though.  Joe and I went home and had a lot of fun with our family.  It was really nice to get my mind off of school and the accident.  And hopefully this week will be better!  It is a busy one.  Joe is moving into our future apartment on Friday and I have lots to do for school and a bridal shower to attend for one of my bridesmaids this weekend.  Busy Busy...  the sermon at church today reminded me though of God's power and I need to leave my worries in His hands... I guess I need to relax a little and take one day at a time, and hopefully everything will come together.

This picture is from our "Easter Luau" we through at the Davitt household...the four of us, John, Kelsey, Me and Joe went to the dollar store and found these amazing decorations and decided we had to have a surprise Luau for my parents Saturday night... they were very surprised and we had a blast :o) Family has a way of making the rough times better!
