Sustained by the Lord..

"But you are a shield around me, O Lord; You bestow glory on me and lift up my head. To the Lord I cry aloud, and He answers me from His holy hill. I lie down and sleep, I wake again because the Lord sustains me." Psalm 3.3-5

Thanksgiving break was amazing, but it was so hard to come back to school! I just am really anxious to be home with my family next semester and have a change. Its been a hard semester. I guess in times that I have been lonely or down or overwhelmed by life its encouraging to hear that God is always by my side. I've been reading through Psalms again {its been a while} and just feel so encouraged when I hear that David or others who wrote Psalms were going through bad days sometimes too and they are able to be real with God but still realize that God is our sustainer and that He doesn't abandon us even when sometimes it may feel that way. He will help me through every day...the good ones and the not so great ones....days that I can't sleep at night and am frustrated, God is still there helping me cope and giving me the loving arms I need.
